Frequently Asked Questions
Can I choose what picture I use for each letter?
At the moment, I have one carefully chosen word and image to go with each letter.
If you would like to send me a message on the contact page, i'm sure we can come up with something.
Is there an option for girl/boy books?
All of my books are gender neutral - with images that appeal to both little boys and girls.
If there are some images that you would love to have in your book, say you know a little boy who is mad about cars - send me a quick message and I will see what we can come up with.
What word/pictures comes with each letter?
Have a quick look at the example pages here.
Do you produce this book in a different language?
Languages aren't my strong point - but lets see what we can come up with.
Do you make any other type of fabric book
At the moment out name book is our only product - however i'm always working on new products. Sign up to our newsletter to keep updated with all our offerings.
Where does your beautiful fabric come from?
All of the applique fabric is lovingly sourced from vintage stores around the UK - special one of a kind fabrics are from patterns dating from the 1920's right up to the 1980's. I love the colourful and unique feel they give each book.
Why is my book a copy of an appliqued book and not the original?
As much as I would love to hand sew each book, realistically the time it would take to assemble each book and would make them (to sell) I wanted to make an affordable product that was also completely safe for little hands and munching mouths.
If you are desperate for a completely hand appliqued book - send me a message and we can have a chat.
I have some fabric that means a lot to me, can I use that pattern in your book?
Good question - my little boy and girls books have some fabric patterns from my wedding dress and husbands kilt. Send me a quick message.
Whats in a name?
My lovely company is named after my twins, Lucy and Cameron. We were surprised with a pregnancy straight after our amazing Highland wedding last year - at the time I was five weeks pregnant (baby was the size of a pip) three weeks later we were given the surreal & amazing news that we were blessed with not one but two babies (the babies were now the size of Cherry's) Until they were born these were how the babes were referred to by everyone.
